Context

For TEDx Nantes 2024, the theme "É-changer" relies on a French wordplay blending "to Exchange" and "to Change". The goal was to visualize this linguistic duality: the idea that every true exchange inevitably leads to a transformation. How can we visually translate the French wordplay “É-changer” to show that every exchange implies a change?

For TEDx Nantes 2024, the theme "É-changer" relies on a French wordplay blending "to Exchange" and "to Change". The goal was to visualize this linguistic duality: the idea that every true exchange inevitably leads to a transformation. How can we visually translate the French wordplay “É-changer” to show that every exchange implies a change?

Idea

As a group project, we decided to materialize the concept through a "mind-flow" metaphor: the portrait represents the listener, while the luminous, fiber-optic swirls symbolize the influx of new ideas. The typographic treatment features a directional arrow over the "e", turning the word into a symbol of forward momentum and evolution.

Realisation

We opted for a modern "Electric Blue" palette, evoking clarity, technology, and depth. The composition merges photography with digital fluid textures to create a dreamlike, almost neurological atmosphere. The layout prioritizes hierarchy, allowing the custom logotype to interact dynamically with the visual, guiding the eye from the human gaze to the event details.
