Context
Most LEGO bricks are still made from petroleum-based materials. Despite ongoing sustainability efforts, LEGO must confront the contradiction between its promise of durability and the environmental accumulation of its products. The question arises: what can LEGO do with its old bricks?
Solution
Through the LEGO Rebuild initiative, used bricks are collected, sorted, and repurposed into new, random creative kits, giving old pieces a second life and inspiring new ways to play.
